These terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions") govern the use of http://www.r-rec.ie (the"Site"). This Site is owned and operated by R-REC. By using this Site, you indicate that you have read and understand these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them at all times. 

1. DEFINITIONS

  • “Services” means all recovery services, coaching, mobile recovery zones, event services, and equipment rental.
  • “Client” / “Renter” means any individual or organisation engaging R-REC.
  • “Equipment” includes all recovery tools and any related accessories.

2. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By booking, purchasing, or using any Services or Equipment, the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms.

3. SERVICES PROVIDED

R-REC provides sports recovery services such as:

  • Mobile recovery zones (gyms, private, corporate)
  • Pop-up recovery stations (events, races)
  • Recovery coaching (pre/post event)
  • Equipment rental

Services are provided for wellness and recovery purposes only and are not medical services.

4. BOOKINGS, PAYMENTS & CANCELLATIONS

  • Full payment is required in advance.
  • Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of payment.
  • 24-hour cancellation notice is required.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours may result in loss of payment.
  • Event bookings may be partially refundable at R-REC’s discretion.

5. MEDICAL DISCLAIMER

  • R-REC does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • Clients must consult a qualified medical professional before using services if unsure.
  • Clients confirm they have no condition that would make participation unsafe.

6. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

The Client acknowledges that recovery services involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Muscle soreness or strain
  • Circulatory reactions
  • Cold exposure risks (shock, hypothermia)
  • Altitude exposure risks (dizziness, hypoxia symptoms)

The Client voluntarily assumes all such risks.

7. LIABILITY WAIVER & INDEMNITY

To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law:

  • R-REC shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, or adverse reaction arising from use of Services or Equipment.
  • The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless R-REC against any claims, damages, or legal actions.
  • This includes claims arising from negligence, misuse, or failure to follow instructions.

8. FORCE MAJEURE

R-REC shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Transport disruption
  • Equipment failure
  • Government restrictions

9. EVENT & COMMERCIAL SERVICES (B2B)

  • Event organisers and commercial clients are responsible for ensuring a safe environment.
  • R-REC operates as an independent contractor.
  • Liability for participant use remains with the participant and/or event organiser where applicable.

10. INSURANCE

R-REC maintains public liability insurance. However, Clients remain responsible for their own health and safety and are encouraged to have personal insurance where appropriate.

11. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.


These Terms and Conditions apply to all the services that are displayed on our Site at the time you access it. All information, descriptions, or images that we provide about our services are as accurate as possible. However, we are not legally bound by such information, descriptions, or images as we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all services we provide. You agree to purchase services from our Site at your own risk.

 

We reserve the right to modify, reject or cancel your order whenever it becomes necessary.
If we cancel your order and have already processed your payment, we will give you a refund equal to the amount you paid. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor your payment instrument to verify receipt of any refund. 

 

Changes

 

These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to the way we operate our Site and the way we expect users to behave on our Site. We will notify users by email of changes to these Terms and Conditions or post a notice on our Site.
